Most of us have transferred over to Zul Jin and there were some interesting first thoughts. Pus said "I'd forgotten the massive part of this multiplayer game.": Which is true, so had I. There are people talking in trade chat, a buzz of activity in the auction house and at the shrine, groups forming for world bosses. It feels almost like a new game.

We are now officially recruiting, send anyone to the website that you think would be a good fit. I'll be posting in trade periodically and so will Retsu. The most crucial role we need to fill is for tanks. The best way to get to know people is to get involved, so join a pug or two and see if any tanks are looking for a semi-casual raiding guild.

We'll be transferring to Zul'Jin on 5/3/2013, hopefully everything will go smooth and we won't leave too many behind. I suppose there is a certain amount of nostalgia with leaving behind the inactives, I feel like I should construct a memorial to Gradec, Gundent, Durgha, Jandis, Chased, Ist, Jendra, Zerreisser, Haiiro, Sanquina, Kizel and Jingxia. Maybe they'll catch up with us some day and if not, they are forever memorialized in a Level 1 Guild Stranded on Baelgun.

While Baelgun has treated us well for several years, the present day Baelgun no longer suits our needs. It has a low population that makes it difficult (impossible) to recruit and keep healthy numbers in the guild. We have gone from running 25 mans to two 10-mans, to the current one stable group with a secondary group that doesn't have the numbers to progress.

I know that moving is expensive, but trust that the decision is not made lightly. To ensure that the realm that we transfer to will suit our needs, the following spreadsheet shows a comparison of the 4 realms I am leaning toward. The main criteria was overall population, and either an even H/A ratio or one that was skewed horde. You can see all the data of all realms at http://www.wowprogress.com/realms/rank/us. If you want to make a case for a different realm, by all means, post your choice with reasoning on this thread. I simply narrowed it down by looking at criteria. Only one realm on the list is PvP, and included just to see how many would be interested in a PvP realm. Most of us were raised in PvE and I think (though I could be wrong) that most would prefer PvE.

So as we all know 5.2 the Thunderking stuff is finally being implemented,
with the need patch comes a new raid instance with new bosses.

PS - If you consistently see yourself at the bottom of the DPS meters LOOK AT THESE, if you have gear and are pulling bad numbers we will not think twice about sitting you for someone who has done their homework. Also remember to sign up for raids or you're hurting everyone.
